[edit]With the threat of the time rift lingering, the Autobot forces were unexpectedly offered help by the Decepticons. The Mayhem Attack Squad and the Wreckers were teamed up, provided with weaponry and put on board a heavy transport provided by the Decepticons to make the journey from Cybertron to Earth.
In the grand battle against the combined forces of Galvatron and Megatron that followed, the Wreckers and the Mayhem Attack Squad immediately found themselves fighting for their lives rather than for success of the mission. Springer opted for retreat to the ship so Rack'n'Ruin could distribute new weapons and the fallen Inferno could be brought to safety. As the battlefield shifted location to make the ship its centerpiece, Rack'n'Ruin gave Roadbuster the Decepticons' Pathblaster, with which he blew a large piece off the mad Decepticon's head from the ship's gate.
