The Sparkeater is a weapon that can, among other things, administer euthanasia through the "painless" draining of a being's life force. It was created by Roadbuster, who presumably named it after the Sparkeaters of legend.

[edit]When Springer gathered the Wreckers for a mission to Garrus-9, Roadbuster couldn't attend because he was too busy developing the Sparkeater.
