  • Black Shadow (Deluxe, 2015)
  • ID number: TAV31
  • Release date: October 24, 2015
  • Accessories: 2 missile launchers, 2 missiles, recon drone
Part of the eighth wave of Takara's Adventure product (their version of the Robots in Disguise series), Black Shadow is a redeco of Generations Sky Shadow in mostly the same colors but with significantly different layouts (especially in his jet-mode striping); the mold is in turn a retool of Generations Thunderwing. He transforms into a fighter jet loosely based on an F-22 Raptor. The nose of the jet can detach and become a separate aerial drone, while the two missile launchers can detach from the wings and become hand-held weapons or clip together into one massive gun. The middle sections of the sculpted missiles on the sides of the guns are also compatible with C joint accessories.
Black Shadow's scan-badge is applied to his left wing. Scanning this with the Transformers Chronicle app unlocks the toy in the list. The badge cannot be scanned in Robot Mode.
This mold was also retooled into Timelines Metalhawk.
