Bullet was a member of a six-bot crew returning to [[Gobotron]] after a lengthy scouting expedition, one launched shortly after the GoBot conversion process was implemented. [[Scorp]] and [[Crain Brain]], flying in [[Space Hawk]] interceptors, observed them. [[Cy-Kill (GoBots)|Cy-Kill]] subsequently captured Hi-Way and all of the crew except [[Apollo (GoBots)|Apollo]], who escaped to warn the Guardians. Cy-Kill observed the sibling rivalry between Bullet and his younger brother, [[Vain Train]]. Using his mind-control abilities, Cy-Kill exacerbated Bullet's tendency to belittle his brother, pushing Vain Train to the [[Renegade]]s. [[Decker Decker]] was similarly manipulated.  
Bullet and Vain Train were competitive brothers from the early days after the catastrophe that led GoBeings to become GoBots. They joined [[Hi-Way]] on a deep space exploration mission which kept them away from home for thousands of years.
