[edit]The ignition chamber was Quintessa's base on Cybertron. When Optimus Prime crashed on the planet, he landed near the ignition chamber which he entered to confront Quintessa. Once she had subdued him and put him under a spell, Quintessa showed Optimus around the chamber and explained how it was vital in restoring life to Cybertron via draining Unicron's life force into their homeworld. Quintessa then turned Optimus into Nemesis Prime and sent him back to Earth so he could bring the staff to the ignition chamber.
