Autobot High Command

The Autobot High Command represents the senior leadership of the Autobots. Headed by Autobot leader Optimus Prime, it is in the business of leading the Autobots in their war against the Decepticons.

It is presumably the opposite number to the Decepticon High Command. It also may or may not be related to the Autobot High Council.

Autobot High Command appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

In the early days of the war on Earth at least, High Command comprised Optimus Prime, with Jazz and Prowl as his joint seconds-in-command, Jetfire as Aerospace Commander and Mirage as Military Intelligence Officer. Ratchet, as Chief Medical Officer, was an honorary member. Autobot Who's Who

During the Great War, the Autobot Devcon worked as a bounty hunter, and had been charged by Autobot High Command with hunting down Decepticons that Command had deemed either too dangerous or too powerful to be left unchecked. The Wreckers #2 Devcon profile

2005 IDW continuity

Following the Gideon's Glue incident on Babu Yar, Autobot High Command got word from an anonymous source that the substance had been developed by Autobots at Kimia Facility. Prowl, a member of High Command, formed the Magnus Inquiry to look into these claims, but the investigation was inconclusive. Bullets

Other than Prowl, High Command was unaware of Springer's repeated attempts at rescuing Kup from a hostile planet. Prowl saw it as a suicide mission, and informed Springer that the others would not support it if they knew. Spotlight: Kup

Based on reports from Agent 113, High Command assumed Garrus-9 to have been destroyed during the Surge. When further reports revealed that this was not the case, Prowl contacted Springer to discuss plans to rescue the Autobot prisoners. Bullets

Once the war was considered over, with Cybertron restored and most Decepticons behind bars, Optimus Prime stepped down to become Orion Pax once again and Autobot High Command seemingly consisted of Prowl, Rodimus and Autobot leader Bumblebee. When Megatron was tried following the war, he initially pled guilty, Towards Peace but after Starscream's grandstanding, he changed his plea to "not guilty", Words Hang in the Air opining that the trial was nothing more than a sham to promote Autobot High Command's version of events. Wings Universe

Nine million years ago, the Autobot High Command was keeping an eye on a nascent group of rogues calling themselves the Decepticons. When open civil war erupted, High Command member Magnum ordered the crew of the Autobot Guard ship Eight Track to retrieve the precious cargo of the Van De Graaff. Succeeding, the Eight Track crew was inducted into a new military unit dedicated to fighting the Decepticons, the Elite Guard. Wings of Honor

The Autobot High Command still existed in the late 30th century C.E., apparently now having authority over all Cybertronians, Autobots, Maximals, and Predacons.
