On the desolated Energy Planet X, Jean and Star Saber have been in pursuit of Liokaiser, only to be stuck always one step behind. The frustration at last gets the best of them and the two begin to fight. Star Saber blames Jean for slowing them down, while Jean simply calls Star Saber mean names like "blockhead" and tells him that he's the reason Solon always teases him. Star Saber cannot believe such treason coming from his own son, but Jean still calls him names.

Pouting, Jean kicks a piece of scrap into the distance, where it smacks against the unseen head of Liokaiser. Star Saber and Jean decide to put aside their differences and form the "V-Star" transformation so that they can defeat Liokaiser. Liokaiser quickly grabs them and prepares to destroy them, when all six of his component Breastforce members begin to argue over who is more deserving of the honor.

Star Saber and Jean take the opportunity to split into the "V-Separation" and change into the "Advanced Guard Combination". As Jean controls the V-Star and bombards Liokaiser with firepower, Star Saber's Brainmaster unit hits him in the face Captain America-style with his "Shield Attack". Liokaiser drops the Energy Pod and retreats.

With the battle won, both Jean and Star Saber apologize for their earlier fight. They then agree that, even though they don't always get along, they will never let it interfere with their duty, lest they end up like the Breastforce.

Star Saber and Jan have a domestic dispute on Energy Planet X which gives Liokaiser a chance to strike!

Synopsis

[edit]

After spending much time on Earth, Blacker at long last leaves for outer space on board Galaxy Shuttle. At Planet V, Cab and Shūta welcome the Brainmaster and show off the Victories' sweet new armor. Cab is wearing a Laster-type while Shūta is wearing a Braver-type. Blacker is about to guess (egotistically) what type Jan is wearing, when Cab and Shūta inform him that it's a Star Saber-type (ego deflated).

On the desolated Energy Planet X, Jan and Star Saber have been in pursuit of Liokaiser, only to be stuck always one step behind. The frustration at last gets the best of them and the two begin to fight. Star Saber blames Jan for slowing them down, while Jan simply calls Star Saber mean names like "blockhead" and tells him that he's the reason Solon always teases him. Star Saber cannot believe such treason coming from his own son, but Jan still calls him names.

Hurt, Star Saber begins to recall the days when he was a child 500,000 years ago and how the young bully, Deathsaurus, constantly used to tease him and call him names like "blockhead". Star Saber begins to realize that Jan isn't just a soldier, but a child, too.

Pouting, Jan kicks a piece of scrap into the distance, where it smacks against the unseen head of Liokaiser. Liokaiser, with the planet's Energy Pod under his arm, pops out of his hiding place and explains that while Deathsaurus is recovering from an illness, the Autobots will have to settle for a fight with him instead.

Star Saber and Jan decide to put aside their differences and form the "V-Star" transformation so that they can defeat Liokaiser. Liokaiser quickly grabs them and prepares to destroy them, when all six of his component Breastforce members begin to argue over who is more deserving of the honor.

Star Saber and Jan take the opportunity to split into the "V-Separation" and change into the "Advanced Guard Combination". As Jan controls the V-Star and bombards Liokaiser with firepower, Star Saber's Brainmaster unit hits him in the face Captain America-style with his "Shield Attack". Liokaiser drops the Energy Pod and retreats.

With the battle won, both Jan and Star Saber apologize for their earlier fight. They then agree that, even though they don't always get along, they will never let it interfere with their duty, lest they end up like the Breastforce.

Notes

[edit]
 • The Victories don their ridiculous armor for the first time in this issue. The relationship of the armor to its corresponding Autobot goes much deeper than appearances, as you'll find out in "Shine, Five Stars of Victory".
 • It is clearly stated in this issue that both Star Saber and Deathsaurus were children who grew up over the course of 500,000 years in a manner similar to how humans grow up. Though logically ridiculous, this is actually consistent with the lyrics of the Victory cartoon's ending theme, "Cybertron Banzai", which claims Star Saber never stole snacks or wet the bed when he was a child. More Transformer children will appear in "The Grand Victory War".
 • The word "noroma" (のろま), which is a childish insult meaning "blockhead", "dunce" or "stupid-face", is used repeatedly throughout this issue, perhaps to illustrate the overtly childish nature of all the bickering.
