WayForward Technologies, Inc. is a video game developer founded in 1990 and based in Valencia, California. While they are perhaps best known for their original titles, including the Shantae series and the Mighty Switch Force series, the company also acts as a "developer for hire", developing various licensed games for other publishers such as Contra 4, River City Girls, DuckTales Remastered, and The Mummy Demastered.
