Synopsis

[edit]

Protector Elita Seven arrives on the scene to monitor a battle between Convoy and Megatron. Convoy fires several shots, all of which seem to miss. The Decepticon taunts Convoy, unleashing a slash with his sword and damaging a nearby moon while claiming that Convoy has gone soft since joining the Alternity. The Convoy then reveals that his shots were a result of his higher-dimensional maneuvering, and he has trapped Megatron in a time loop. As a result, the same weapon blast strikes Megatron's auto-avatar repeatedly, reducing it to scrap.

Protector E-7 calls Convoy on fighting dirty, scolding him. The Convoy takes exception to her form of address (as she called him "deity") and insists that she refer to him as "Knight of Darkness". The Protector is not impressed and declines to pander to him.

Notes

[edit]
  • The Convoy who appears in this story is the Nemesis Prime who previously appeared in the Fun Publications Cybertron magazine comic (note, though, that he has actually changed his personal name from Nemesis Prime to Convoy). That an individual iteration of a character in a relatively obscure Transformers comic gets reused in a different language is presumably due to Alternity writer Hirofumi Ichikawa's extensive knowledge of English language Transformers and collaboration with Fun Publications writers.
  • Meanwhile, Elita Seven is a future version of Arcee from the Energon cartoon (specifically, the Japanese Super Link version, wherein she was known as "Ariel"). Geddit? Cause Generation 1 Elita One was previously known as "Ariel" before being upgraded into Elita One.
