- Nightscream is an Autobot Transcendent Technomorph from the TransTech continuity.
It's unknown if Nightscream brooded darkly in the shadows of Axiom Nexus, but as one of the elite Transcendent Technomorphs of the city he certainly had little to genuinely complain about. Of course that was before he was kidnapped by Alpha Trion and ousted from his chassis in favor of the spark of a lowtech loyal to the insurrectionist's cause.[1]

Eventually, Nightscream's spark, along with those of Blackarachnia and Immorticon, was rescued when an OZSA team led by General Optimus Prime raided Alpha Trion's old laboratory, which had more recently been used by publicly-known terrorist Cy-Kill.
