==Synopsis==
Ignite Leo is itching for a fight against Optimus, the supposed hero from the outside world. He attacks Optimus with many fast strikes, leaving the Autobot Leader struggling to react. Lightlong tanks a hit for Optimus, but his pleas for the lion energy beast to cease attacking fell on deaf audio sensors, forcing him to form Lightning Optimus with the Energy Master.
[[Ignite Leo]] asks if [[Optimus Prime (WK)|Optimus Prime]] is the offworlder he's heard about and immediately challenges him to a fight, quickly striking the off guard [[Autobot]] from multiple directions. [[Lightlong]] tries to step between them and stop the fight, but is immediately knocked down instead. His attempt at diplomacy having failed, Lightlong quickly [[Wildocking|Wildocks]] with Optimus and reforms their Lightning Optimus combination to answer Ignite Leo's challenge. They once again charge up and fire their Lightlong Slash attack, but find it quite ineffective against the stone wall [[Spirituan]] raises with his Earth Defense. He then mocks the two about Ground Energy being immune to Lightning, saying you must know type match-ups to win a battle.

Lightning Optimus fires a sword beam at Ignite Leo, but it is neutralized by Spirituan's Earth Defense. Ignite Leo takes advantage of this to strike back hard, and also call out Optimus for not knowing how to use elemental energy. Just when he was about to deal the finishing blow, Hydrophant, motivated by the need to protect Lightlong, assumes his robot mode and fires a stream of water at Ignite Leo from his beast mode shoulder to scare off the lion, vowing that while he may not like fighting , he will protect what's important to him.
Ignite Leo takes the opening to leap over the wall for an attack, joining Spirituan in mocking his opponents' type match-up knowledge. Hydrophant cries out as Ignite Leo lands a devastating sword strike and as the lion prepares to end the fight, Hydrophant at last manages to gather up his courage and transforms into his robot mode to join the fight. He fires a giant stream of water at Ignite Leo to interrupt him, and declares to Optimus Prime he will heed his words to rise to the occasion and defend those he holds dear. Optimus's chest begins to glow just as [[Megatron (WK)|Megatron]]'s did in their earlier fight, and Lightlong says it is from the strength of the bond Optimus and Hydrophant have forged. Optimus asks Hydrophant to lend his strength and is obliged—Hydrophant Wildocks with Lightning Optimus to form the triple combination Lightning Aqua Optimus! Ignite Leo is stunned by the triple combination, which leaves Lightning Aqua Optimus an opening to blast him with his powerful Hydro Thunder Splash attack. Ignite Leo is launched back and hits the rock wall, falling defeated as Lightlong remarks that his fire element can't beat the water element and returns the earlier mocking about type match-ups.

This vow ended up resonating with Lightning Optimus, who used the bond he had forged with Hydrophant to combine with the elephant, forming Lightning Aqua Optimus before finishing Ignite Leo off with an electrically charged vortex.
Lightlong interrogates Ignite Leo about why he attacked them and Ignite Leo begs forgiveness for the affair. The two Energy Beasts simply wished to see the strength of the supposed hero of legend, and seek to prevent anybody from obtaining the [[Element Shield]]. Lightlong is shocked and remembers Megatron had previously said he was after that very shield. Optimus asks what it is, and Spirituan says that according to the Dinosaur Tribe, it is an ancient wall that hides something that would give whoever breaches it strength beyond anything they've known. He however senses something else within it, something evil. Then suddenly, a bright purple glow flares up in the sky and Spirituan is hit by some sort of energy blast. He feels somebody intruding inside his mind and struggles against it before being dragged off into the air before his stunned companions.

Afterwards, Lightlong confronted Ignite Leo on why he attacked the group, which the latter explains was to test Optimus' strength to stop others from getting their hands on the elemental shield, which Spirituan explained was something that has been around for a long time and is something the Dinosaur Tribe wanted to gain power, but he senses something evil from it. As soon as he said that, a mysterious purple energy beam abducts him and whisks him away.
Sometime later, Spirituan awakens and finds himself forcibly Wildocked with Megatron as his left arm! [[Captain Volca]] welcomes him as [[Leafback]] and [[Abyssrain|another Dinosaur tribesman]] stand near in dinosaur mode, Megatron remarking that all the pieces are now in place...

Spirituan was later shown wildocked to Megatron's Right Arm, as the Decepticon leader declares that the pieces are in place.

*This is the first time a Wildocked Energy Master has (almost) been defeated by an Energy Beast, as well as the first time Elemental Energy is implied to have a ''Pokémon''/''Mega Man''-esque rock paper scissors format.
*The "Element Shield" is mentioned by Megatron in "[[The Hero Who Descends from the Sky!]]", as shown in Lightlong's flashback.
*Lightning Optimus is formed for the second time. Notably, the entire combination sequence has been truncated significantly, only showing the final pose at the end.

*The stegosaurus from ''[[The Power of Bonds! Wildocking!]] makes a small cameo here among Megatron's forces. Not much is known about them at the moment...
*Megatron's desire for the "Elemental Shield" from ''[[The Hero Who Descends from the Sky!]]'' was briefly shown when Ignite Leo was explaining why he attacked them, and some context about what it is is given in this episode.

As Optimus Prime battles Ignite Leo, Hydrophant must come to terms with his fear of fighting.
