Having abducted the superheroes Rom the Space Knight and Snake Eyes, the wicked Baron Karza teleported into the mountain to steal the gem, stopping to capture the Autobot leader Optimus Prime on his way out. Upon returning to Microspace, he announced to his three prisoners his plan to use the Orbsah Gem to steal their greatest powers: Rom's space tracking ability, Optimus's transformation ability, and Snake Eyes' super coolness.
