CVO: Covert Vampiric Operations

[edit]

When H. P. Lovecraft began writing his stories involving the Elder Gods, Oblivion assigned Emanuel Houellebecq the task of striking up friendly correspondence with the writer. He was also to isolate and marginalize Lovecraft's work—when that didn't work, he met Lovecraft for dinner and poisoned him then. Houellebecq later oversaw the extraction of the Relic from Lovecraft's corpse.

Houellebecq would later have a granddaughter, Amanda Houellebecq. Infestation 2 #1
