- The feminist mob is a group of human females from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The feminist mob was formed by a group of Earthling women who were angered that the Transformers had no females among their ranks. Understandably, they didn't buy the Autobots' explanation that their species has no gender and that it was merely coincidence that they all were males by human association. Due to their persisting complaints (and name-calling), the Autobots eventually yielded and built a "female" Transformer: Arcee.

[edit]Once Arcee was completed, Optimus Prime presented her to the feminist mob, anxious for their judgement. Summarizing their reaction, the feminists were greatly annoyed by Arcee's colour, shape and one-of-a-kindness. Optimus Prime tried to reason with them, ignorant of what had gotten them so angry after he had given in to their demands, but was interrupted in his attempts by a surprise attack of the Decepticons.
Once they were driven off thanks to Arcee's efforts in battle, Hot Rod, trying to aim at the fleeing Shockwave, collided with Arcee and ended up in a heap on the floor with her. At that moment, the feminists came back in the picture and smugly asked Hot Rod what his thoughts on female warriors were now that he had witnessed Arcee's potential. Hot Rod equally smugly replied that he was all for them, infuriating the feminists once more. Prime's Rib!
