William E. Martin (October 8, 1945 - January 27, 2016) was an American singer, songwriter, and actor. As a voice actor, some of his better known roles include the Rock Man from The Point, Samhain from The Real Ghostbusters, the Nightmare King from Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, Tor and Umbra on Mighty Orbots, Claw in Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos, and as the Shredder in the later seasons of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. Outside of voice acting, he also wrote the screenplay for the 1987 film Harry and the Hendersons.

In 2016, Martin died by unknown causes.[1]
