- Septimus Prime is a Transformer from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Septimus Prime was the ruler of Protohex. He mainly did so by using Arrius's name.

[edit]Long ago, Septimus Prime rose to power in Protohex and forced gladiators to fight for energon. One of his last acts was forcing the twins Galvatron and Arcee to fight and kill each other. When Arcee refused to slay her brother, Septimus threatened that they would both die, before Megatronus arrived and slew Septimus's entourage. Hoisting the weaker Prime, Megatronus offered to incorporate Protohex into the Darklands, but Septimus refused. Megatronus had in fact been speaking to the gladiators below and when they accepted, he threw Septimus to his fate.
Vector Prime informed his brethren of Septimus's demise. Solus Prime didn't care, Nexus Prime did and Onyx Prime said Septimus Prime had never been one of them. Origin Myths
