- Greatsix is based on an early design of Greatshot from the Victory franchise. His color scheme is taken from Shadowmaru, the Greatshot redeco/retool from Takara's Brave Police J-Decker. His name was given at the BotCon 2015 "Japanese Perspective" panel.
- It is ambiguous if Greatsix is a Six Changer or not.
