Ceti Alpha Seven was the site of a Decepticon facility under the command of Deathsaurus. Its function was to unlock the then-thought-lost cloning ability of the Insecticons. Using Dirge and Buzzclaw as bases, Deathsaurus was indeed able to produce a horde of Virulent Clones, but he ultimately destroyed the facility in an attempt to kill a captured team of Autobots. [edit]Ceti Alpha VII was a temperate planet rich in energon. The planet was once inhabited by Deathsaurus, until a group of Decepticons that included the Insecticons Dirge and Buzzclaw chanced across the remote world. Deathsaurus helped the two awaken their latent genetic potential, and the Decepticons established a cloning plant to mass-produce an army of virulent Insecticon clones. The Autobots eventually destroyed the facility, but the planet remained a significant Decepticon stronghold. Eventually, however, over-exploitation of its natural resources led to the depletion of its once-abundant energon reserves. Decepticon Directive
Notes
[edit]- Ceti Alpha Seven is probably a reference to Ceti Alpha V, a planet from Star Trek on which Khan was stranded.
