- In robot mode, his shoulder-pipes have flames shooting upwards, which don't have enough clearance to not bump into his back-spoiler, limiting his "useful" arm articulation.
- This Series as only barely released in the US, and Sideswipe was one of only four "new" toys in the entire assortment of twelve.
- This mold was also used to make Stealth Force Hot Rod, Generation 1 Hot Rod, and both Cyberverse Wheeljack and Generation 1 Wheeljack.
