After the "rebellion" on Mining Outpost C-12 was stricken down, the surviving miners were brought aboard the Longshot to be transported to Penal Facility H-3. Under guidance of Frenzy, Rumble, and Megatron, the prisoners broke free from their chains and took out the guards, events not unnoticed by the other ships travelling along. As the Longshot deviated from the flight plan and failed to respond to several calls, Senator Decimus ordered for its destruction. Instead, the Longshot's weaponry nearly destroyed his ship, leaving the Autobots to worry over the senator while the Longshot fled and went into hiding in Kaon. Megatron Origin #1
