[edit]After Grimlock was captured during an ill-advised attempt to destroy the Cybertronian flagship Twilight, Optimus Prime hijacked the Sabre with Kup, Hot Rod, Prowl, and Hound to come to his rescue.
The Sabre's captain was forced to give the proper identification codes to enter the Twilight's security net in exchange for the lives of his crew. They fired on the prison ship transporting Grimlock's team to the Liege Maximo, enabling them to mount an insurrection.
The Sabre's crew was allowed to escape in life pods after the rescue was complete. Devices and Desires!
