Drake and his team of Machination agents just took down a Transformer in a ball of flames...virtually. Hooked into a VR training simulation, the team finished their "mission" and unplugged as Drake told them to be ready at a moment's notice to perform the real thing. He then checked in with Mister Weiss, who was monitoring the shore of Lake Michigan for activity using a network of hidden cameras. Weiss wasn't sure if anything would turn up, but Drake was confident of a sighting at any moment.
The man was soon proven right when his team picked up two aliens leaving the lake and heading to Highway 94. Drake ordered his team to track the two signals and establish an intercept zone. As the plan unfolded, drone cars caused a severe traffic pileup which separated the two vehicles. The agents circled the yellow vehicle in a smokescreen, used a scrambler device to immobilize it and its passenger, then dropped a decoy in its place, blew it up and disappeared. Mission complete. Escalation #1

Never one to leave loose threads dangling, Drake supervised his team at the Springfield PD impound lot as they retrieved the wreck of the decoy car. No traces were to be left. To their surprise, they were interrupted by two armed alien machines who threatened Drake's men in no uncertain terms. On Drake's order, his team immobilized the mechs with scramblers, and shot at them with a cannon-like weapon. The truck carrying the decoy took off from the lot. Drake's team scattered with orders to rendezvous at the Oklahoma Bolthole the next day. As to the loose threads, the impound lot building then went up in a giant explosion. However, the truck never made it to the rendezvous, and the decoy it was carrying disappeared, no doubt due to alien interference. Escalation #2
Later, when the Machination utilized the Sunstreaker clones against Hot Rod and Wheeljack, Drake and Weiss monitored the situation. Devastation #2
As Scorponok's plans for Earth progressed, Drake took more of a bystander role. Stationed in the Machination's Dallas headquarters, he alerted Dante of Hot Rod's visit just after the Headmaster let loose Grimlock on the unwitting public of Fallon, Nevada. Maximum Dinobots #1 After much mayhem caused by Scorponok's plotting, Drake notified his boss that a Cybertronian ship was headed straight for their building, alerted to their location by a distress call from Hot Rod. Maximum Dinobots #4
