- Hammerstrike is a Decepticon-allied Sharkticon from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Once Cybertron's most feared pirate, Hammerstrike the Sharkticon harbors a deep contempt for anything above the waves. Pretty much everything about dry land offends him, and being forced to even set foot on it is a grievous insult. He'll suffer it to further his plans, but he'll complain about having the stink of land-dweller on him the whole time.

Intending to turn the sea into something approximating home, he attacked the oil tanker Windward. Bumblebee and Grimlock came to the stricken tanker's aid. Grimlock attempted to take on Hammerstrike in the water, which turned out pretty bad for the Dinobot as he couldn't swim. Bumblebee was barely able to get the upper hand, but the arrival of the Coast Guard provided a distraction, and Hammerstrike escaped.
