This article is about the alloy from the live-action film continuity and the Beast Wars Uprising continuity. For the metal from several other continuities, see Cybertitanium.

Cybertanium is a rare, nearly indestructible alloy. It is mined from and can be found deep within Cybertron. It apparently holds an edge well, as it can be used to construct extremely durable, extremely sharp blades.[1] The cybertanium blades of Autobot warrior Sideswipe are feared across Cybertron[2], and Optimus Prime has a transforming MechTech battle axe made of cybertanium as part of his extensive arsenal.[3] The only known weakness that cybertanium has is that it becomes very brittle and prone to breaking when exposed to extreme cold.[4]
