  • Strongarm vs Phantomjaw (Vs set, 2015)
  • ID number: TAV VS03
  • Release date: June 27, 2015
  • Accessories: Claw
Part of the fourth wave of TakaraTomy's Adventure product (their version of the Robots in Disguise series), Phantomjaw is a redeco of Warrior Class Steeljaw. He transforms from a werewolf-like robot mode, complete with articulated tail, into an off-road police vehicle. He comes with a Wolverine-like claw weapon that he can either wield or attach to the roof of his vehicle mode.
His scannable insignia is on his vehicle-mode windshield, which becomes his robot-mode chest. In-package, this is covered up by a "dummy sticker" to prevent scanning without purchase. Scanning the real sticker unlocks Phantomjaw in the Adventure checklist app.
Due to a lack of heel-spurs and the uneven surfaces on the soles of his feet (being made up of the vehicle-mode grill and bumper), he has problems standing upright without using his tail as a stabilizing tripod.
He was only available in a two-pack with a Strongarm identical to her normal individual Adventure release.
