Travis Knight (born 1973 in Hillsboro, Oregon) is an American animator, filmmaker and former rapper. In 1993, he released a rap album titled Get Off Mine under the name Chilly Tee. As an animator, he is a co-founder and CEO of the animation studio, Laika. Where he worked on the films Coraline, The Boxtrolls, ParaNorman and his directorial debut, Kubo and the Two Strings prior to Transformers. His next live-action directorial effort relating to live-action films based on toy-lines of the 1980s would later be Mattel's Masters of the Universe.
He is the son of businessman and Nike co-founder, Phil Knight.
