Synopsis

[edit]

As Bumblebee races along a desert road, his passenger Denny stuffs his face with a condiment-soaked burger and fries, spattering Bee's main console. Denny then smears more sauce across Bee's controls as he turns the blaring rock music up. Fast food packaging is strewn all over Bumblebee's interior, and the front passenger side window is also ketchup-ed. Once they return to the scrapyard, Denny gets out and thanks 'Bee for the ride... and Bee transforms, horrified at all the gunk all over him.

That night, Bumblebee visits a car wash, carefully making sure to get every spot out while grumbling about Denny and generally being squicked out. Finally satisfied that he's got all of the goo off, Bee leaves with a smile... only for Sideswipe to drive past, right through a nearby mud puddle, splashing Bee in the process. The bath resumes.

Continuity notes

[edit]
  • The scene in the car wash places the short after Strongarm's revealing of the wash to Bumblebee in "Sideways".

Errors

[edit]
  • Technically, Bee shouldn't have messes on his robot-mode armor, since Denny's dinner detritus would be confined to Bee's vehicle interior. But that's not as funny, so...
    • On the upside, this scenario is all the more toy accurate, as most toys keep their robot kibble in the car parts (so if Bee's bot kibble formed his upholstery, it would make sense).

Trivia

[edit]
  • This short was originally released on Hasbro's Transformers website.
  • Considering the sheer amount of junk food packaging inside Bumblebee, that must have been a long trip. Or Denny is a bottomless pit.
  • Apparently, they have napkins on Cybertron.
