Ragebyte is a Decepticon-allied Sharkticon from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.
"Any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science."

Ragebyte is a scientist. He isn't interested in very much outside of his experiments, and he'd really rather avoid any unanticipated variables affecting their outcome—such as, say, do-gooders insisting his tests of his latest explosive formula are somehow unethical. However, if any Autobots want to try to stop his pursuit of glorious SCIENCE, this Sharkticon is more than happy to invite them to the table—the dissection table.

"Conclusion: Screen door addition ineffective."

Ragebyte traveled to Earth to experiment with meshing Cybertronian technology with whatever he could find there to make bigger and better explosives. He found extruded polystyrene to be a useful additive, but before he could complete his bomb, he was caught by Windblade, who sealed him in a stasis pod. When the cache that contained his pod was threatened by a stricken aircraft, the Bee Team removed everything from it, and an incident during transport resulted in Ragebyte escaping.

Reclaiming his bomb, he headed to some nearby docks to raid the stocks of polystyrene. Sideswipe and Blurr caught up with him there, however Ragebyte's ability to project an energy beam from his mouth allowed him to get away. Pursued along the river by the pair, Ragebyte successfully forced them to crash their boat and then shook them off when they grabbed him. The Sharkticon proceeded to attach his completed explosive to Crown City Bridge in order to carry out a field trial, then battled Bumblebee, Drift, and Grimlock atop the bridge until Sideswipe goomba-stomped him into defeat and Blurr carried his bomb a safe distance away. The team took him back to the scrapyard where he was again stored in a stasis pod. Blurred

Ragebyte's stasis pod was later taken aboard Prime Force One by Optimus Prime and Drift. Moon Breaker
