Slingshot is a seething, obnoxious mass of insecurities. When he's not disguising his frustrations from his Aerialbot teammates, he's working them out by pumping Decepticons full of neutron packets at a rate of 200 rounds per second, courtesy of his neutron rifle.

- The Transformers Slingshot came with a small black neutron rifle that clipped onto his arm in robot mode. This toy was also available in a Superion giftset. It was reissued as part of the European/Australian Classics line in 1990 and as a mail-away item in Japan in 1991.
