"Infinities when considered absolutely without any Restriction or Limitation, are neither equal nor unequal, nor have any Proportion one to another, and therefore the Principle that all Infinities are equal, is a precarious one"

The mysterious experimental Transformers code-named "Infinites" represent the next evolution in the development of the Transformer race: composed of specially engineered sentio metallico, they possesses the ability to naturally assume millions of alternate modes, and massive self-repair facilities, able to heal themselves back from death.

The Infinites were designed by the Grand Architect and based off the self-repairing abilities of Primus. The Unremembering Their creation required the hiring of blacksmiths to procure samples of sentio metallico for him to work with. He established facilities scattered across the galaxy, each maintained by affiliates who tended the embryonic Infinites as they grew within their "birthing pods." This actively set the timetable back, so when Demus, custodian of the Tebris VII ward, was later killed by Fortress Maximus for unrelated crimes, the stock there was simply aborted, rather than risk a repeat of the Corritan incident. But even as his avenues of potential success narrowed, the Architect received word that Mengel had successfully brought an Infinite to term in her ward on Troja Major. His men took custody of the new lifeform, but while escorting it to their ship, Chasing the Infinite it escaped and took refuge in a funereal compound, disguising itself as a coffin. It remained there until Lug and Anode discovered it while tracking the smell of "unnatural" sentio metallico. The startled robot transformed to confront them, but collapsed from exhaustion, being little more than a week old. Unfortunately, all this activity attracted the attention of the anti-Transformer Black Block Consortia, and the aliens opened fire on the robot and killed it. An Axe to Break the Ice The Consortia took the Infinite's remains, but its self-repair abilities restored it to life. Subsequently, Flame and his team re-acquired the Infinite from the Consortia, and took it back to their master. Chasing the Infinite

When bound by Scorponok, Grimlock assumed the ex-Decepticon was the Grand Architect with the Infinites being his endgame. Scorponok scoffed at that and dismissed the Infinites as a distraction from his true project, the Firstborn. Kill All 'Cons

The Grand Architect eventually mass-produced a fleet's worth of Infinites, having them transform into starships to fight off the Functionist Council's recon ships. The Return of the King The Infinites' self-healing powers were insufficient to save them from fighting off the Functionists' avatar of Primus, with Flame casually noting half of the Infinite fleet was dead. The Unremembering

After the Architect had perished and Flame had allied himself with the Lost Light crew, the ex-Autobot marshalled the remaining Infinites to act as the muscle of the assault on Functionist Cybertron, many of them perishing against the Functionaries. A Spark Among Embers
