Nelson Shin (신능균 申奈舜; born 1939 in Pyongsan, Hwanghae, Korea) is a Korean animator and animation director. He was the producer of the original Transformers cartoon and the director of The Transformers: The Movie, and is the founder and owner of the South Korean animation studio AKOM.
