Many children saw this box. Few dared to look inside.
The Tech Specometer Eleven is an Autobot (?) from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Tech Specometer Eleven is a strange Cybertronian (if they are one). They lack a bot mode and have instead chosen to dedicate both their modes to helping their fellow Autobots (again, if they are one). Their tablet form can change shape into a weapon. Not satisfied, they also have added multiple tools to their body which can help during various situations.

They are a mysterious bot, who presumably lives an adventurous life.

[edit]
  • Tech Specometer Eleven (1985)
The Tech Specometer Eleven has two forms. One resembles a blaster with a foot, while the other is a brick. Found on both forms are an altimeter, compass, flashlight, magnifying glass, tape measure, sundial, telescope/periscope, reflector, whistle, and even a manual counter. That makes 11 toys in one!
Based on the Gakken toy from Japan called the Boys Commander-11 (ボーイズコマンダー11), the Tech Specometer Eleven was released by Nasta for the American market. While both toys included eleven gadgets, the Boys Commander-11 featured a working AM Radio that was replaced with a "reflector" (where the AM dial once existed) for the Transformers Tech Specometer release despite the fact that Nasta released several licensed Transformers AM devices.
There's even a wrist strap to keep the powerful Tech Specometer Eleven close to its user, so no Decepticon can hope to steal its power.

Notes

[edit]
  • The packaging claims Tech Specometer Eleven to be a "Heroic Autobot", though they lack a faction symbol and a robot mode. They do, however, feature the franchise logo of the time. Optimus Prime can be found on the packaging above this notice, so we can only hope that Hasbro meant the Tech Specometer Eleven is a Heroic Autobot.
