Go-Bots cartoon

Voice actor: Peter Kelamis (English)

Mototron trained with Speed-Bot back on Gobotropolis, though Speed-Bot proved to be the faster of the two.

Mototron came to Earth, thinking the Arctic would be a great place to have some fun. He drove through a ski resort, accidentally breaking an oil pipeline in his recklessness. The resulting hubbub summoned Aero-Bot, Speed-Bot, and Beast-Bot to the scene.

As Mototron continued to race about, he spotted Aero-Bot towing an oil tanker up a mountain, (to clean up the mess Mototron had caused) but could only think of challenging the new arrival to a race. Aero-Bot pointed out the obvious to Mototron: he was little busy at the moment. Oblivious to the seriousness of the situation, Mototron taunted Aero-Bot, saying he was too scared to accept his challenge. Mototron then broke Aero-Bot's tow-chain, thinking he might change his mind once relieved of his heavy load. Needless to say, this only served to make Aero-bot even busier.

Mototron next came upon Speed-Bot and challenged him to a race as well. Mototron was turned down once more, aggravating him further. He spouted out that Speed-Bot was just scared of losing and sped off into a nearby mine. As he tore through the tunnels, Mototron accidentally knocked down some support beams, causing the mine to start collapsing behind him. Though Mototron nearly made it back out into the open, the cave-in caught up to him and buried him in rubble. Despite his predicament, he could still only concern himself with the thought that Speed-Bot might beat him. But when his rival pulled him out, Speed-bot explained that there was more to life than just winning silly competitions. Mototron saw the error of his ways, and admitted that Speed-Bot was his better. He vowed to train hard back on Gobotropolis so that he could learn to control his power and use it to help people. Not pretty, but definitely reckless.
  • Mototron (Basic Go-Bot, 2002)
Part of the only assortment of "Basic" toys under the Playskool Big Adventures brand, Mototron is a redeco of his wave-mate Speed-Bot, transforming into a black sportscar with red windows in a few simple steps.
This mold was redecoed and mildly retooled a fair amount, to make Aero-Bot II, Cop-Bot, Fire-Bot, Prowl-Bot, and Taxi-Bot.

[edit]
