Luxoflux was a North American video game development studio based in Santa Monica, California, best known for the video game series True Crime and Vigilante 8. They were acquired by video game publishing giant Activision in 2002, and shut down on February 11, 2010.[1] Luxoflux's final published video game was 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Prior to their closure, the company had started work on another Transformers game, a prototype of which leaked onto the internet in 2024.
