[edit]At the conclusion of the First Cybertronian Civil War, Prima and his compatriot "Onyx Prime" left Cybertron aboard Emissary to search for Megatronus. They found him on the barren world of Tsiehshi. Megatronus slew Prima, and was, in turn, slain by Onyx Prime—in reality, a convenient identity assumed by a time-travelling Shockwave. Emissary chose to memorialize his fallen master by interning Prima's body within himself, and setting off into space.

Unbeknownst to Emissary, however, his internal systems had been sabotaged by Shockwave, and he crashed on prehistoric Elonia some time later, The First Who Was Named in the region that would become known as the Thrail Mountains. Despite Shockwave's efforts, Emissary survived the impact, but was left badly damaged and paralyzed, unable to move or speak. In time, he was buried by tectonic movements. Our Darkest
Some 600,000 years ago, the younger Shockwave began his Regenesis project, having selected Elonia as one of his targets. Shockwaves Thanks to the machinations of the older "Onyx Prime," the missile containing Shockwave's payload of Ore-12 impacted in the region around Emissary's resting place. The native Elonians evolved and developed a starfaring civilization without ever discovering him.
When Unicron attacked Elonia, an attempt to space bridge the planet's population to safety was hindered by a counter-frequency wave being broadcast by Emissary, who had been partially unearthed by the ongoing destruction of the planet by the Chaos-Bringer. Unable to properly communicate with the paralyzed 'bot, the problem was resolved when Arcee killed Emissary by plunging her swords into his brain module. Emissary's body was subsequently devoured by Unicron as the planet-eater consumed Elonia. Our Darkest

[edit]In ancient days, the pre-urban Urtuskians thought Emissary a deity only for him to decline their worship. In the modern era, he was one of the many Titans to willingly enter stasis lock in orbit of Cybertron as part of the planet's defence fleet, Escape Part Four being rendered inert by the data-bomb attack from the Rise. The Change In Your Nature Part Four At Megatron's command, his orbital decay was later accelerated, Titans causing him to crash into the Cybertronian Mountains. Escape Part Four
Notes
[edit]- Emissary's name is, of course, a nod to Robots in Disguise Emissary and Titans Return Emissary, who in other continuities are affiliated with incarnations of Fortress Maximus.
