He is very popular in the world of cartoon theme songs, having performed some of the most memorable of all time. Among many others, he has done "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" and "We Gotta Power" for Dragon Ball Z, "Stardust Memory" for Super Cavalry Southern Cross, "HEATS" for Getter Robo Armageddon, "Soldier Dream" for Saint Seiya, "Sonic Drive" for Sonic X with Hideaki Takatori, the Japanese-language version of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" for Rocky III, "Power Up Turtles" for the Japanese Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anime OVA and the theme songs of Dengeki Sentai Changeman, Hikari Sentai Maskman, and Chōjin Sentai Jetman.
