- Part of the Transformers Collectible Blind box, Goldbug is a redeco and minor retool (with his battle mask on) of the Bumblebee figure from the same line.
Notes
[edit]- Like the other characters from the "Shattered Glass" event, Bumblebee is given a distinct portrait and a Shattered Glass-style purple Autobot insignia. However, the game does not reflect this and simply uses his normal counterpart, as making entirely new game models would be too taxing on the poor developers.
- Bumblebee's disposal of his version of Optimus is obviously inspired by Starscream throwing a wounded Megatron out of Astrotrain in The Transformers: The Movie.
- Therefore, this Bumblebee shares Shattered Glass Rodimus's same nature; probably an homage to Bee and Hot Rod's relationship in the positive live-action universe.
