The Autobot Headmasters are on the trail of the renegade Decepticon Headmasters! Can they catch them before they join Galvatron for his assault on Cybertron?
Synopsis
[edit]It seems that everywhere in the Universe, the Autobots and Decepticons are at war. Near Cybertron, the newly resurrected Optimus Prime succeeds in driving back Galvatron and forces, who retreat and return to Chaar. Hot Rod requests permission to pursue them, but Prime instead declares that the Autobots return to their Headquarters on Athenia and prepare a strategy.
On Earth, Ultra Magnus leads Metroplex in a battle against Trypticon, thoroughly occupying all of the Autobots' Earth-based troops.
Meanwhile, on the very fringe of darkest space, four Autobots from the planet Master, Chromedome, Hardhead, Highbrow and Brainstorm, are in pursuit of three traitors. The traitors, Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher and Mindwipe, hide out on a small planetoid and taunt their pursuers.
The bad guys attempt to sneak up on their Autobot foes and messily pounce on them from behind. When the dust clears, they discover that they've been beating each other up and the Autobots are nowhere to be found. The Autobots then get the drop on them and swear they won't let them escape. With the Decepticons defeated, things look squared away. That is until Sixshot arrives and single-handedly defeats all four Autobot Headmasters. Sixshot berates the Decepticons for being so slow and orders them to hurry back to Chaar so they can join Galvatron for his attack on Cybertron.
The Autobot Headmasters recover and curse their defeat, only to be approached by their Commander, Fortress, who orders them to board the Battleship Maximus with haste. Lifting off, they set course for Cybertron as Chromedome swoons, eager to meet his idol, Optimus Prime.

Notes
[edit]- This story takes place shortly after "The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 2" and almost immediately before "Four Warriors Come out of the Sky", where Galvatron and the Decepticon Headmasters will attack Cybertron.
- Chromedome never gets to meet Optimus Prime. Awwwwww.
