| This article is about the heroic Recordicon from Shattered Glass. For the evil Recordicon from Generation 1, see Howlback (G1). For a list of other meanings, see Howlback (disambiguation). |
- Howlback is a heroic Decepticon Mini-Cassette from the Shattered Glass continuity family.

Howlback is one of Commissioner Garboil's subordinates.
Fiction
[edit]Recordicons
[edit]As she and Garboil waited by the Batbot signal, Howlback announced that she didn't think Batbot was coming. Garboil disagreed, and was proven right moments later when the mysterious vigilante made an appearance. Howlback watched as Garboil briefed the newcomer on Blackcat's escape from Garrus-9, and was asked to momentarily turn around with Garboil so Batbot could "mysteriously" disappear. Recordicons #5
Notes
[edit]- According to Howlback's creator, Recordicons artist David Willis, Howlback is "vaguely inspired" by DC Comics character Renee Montoya, introduced in Batman: The Animated Series.
