- The battle sled is a Decepticon vehicle from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family

It's Megatron and his Decepticon friends!
As a self-confessed despot who has just devastated an entire planet merely to get the attention of your former nemesis there is only one way to travel, and that's by battle sled. The battle sled is roomy, with room for at least two minions to stow away on the back and is fitted with weaponry to both the front and rear of the vehicle.
As an extra, you can have your unspace-linked, conjoined enemy's face-mounted on the hood.

[edit]Regeneration One
[edit]When the Wreckers' shuttle was shot down over Earth in 2012, Megatron travelled to the crash site of their escape pods aboard his battle sled. Most of his zombie army had to walk (or fly) though Blitzwing and Starscream got to ride on the back. Later on, he revealed to the captured Kup that he had mounted Ratchet's face on the hood to torture the Autobot medic. Loose Ends, Part 2

Shortly afterwards, the part-lobotomised Starscream started to regain a sliver of self-control and when Optimus Prime arrived to confront Megatron, Starscream used that distraction to reveal to Kup that in order to defeat Megatron he must "kllrtch" — or "kill Ratchet". Loose Ends, Part 4 While Prime and Megatron battled, the Scraplet-infected Kup dragged himself towards the battle sled and with First Aid's help (and gun), shot Ratchet in the face. The resultant mental feedback left Megatron unable to defend himself and he was quickly defeated once and for all, proving that mounting his sole weakness on the front of his battle sled was not the best idea. Loose Ends, Part 5
Notes
[edit]- Megatron's battle sled bears a faint resemblance to the "jet throne" portion of his Action Master toy's Neutro-Fusion Tank.
