Aware that the Nemesis would overwhelm and cripple the Ark as it travelled to the orbiting space bridge, Hot Rod enacted a plan to draw away the enemy warship with remotely piloted Autobot shuttles. Eagerly, Red Five guided a shuttle into orbit before he detected the arriving Nemesis which summarily deployed Decepticon scout ships to engage the snubfighters.
