| This article is about the Aligned Mini-Con. For the full-sized Aligned Decepticon, see Bludgeon (Prime). For a list of other meanings, see Bludgeon (disambiguation). |
- Bludgeon is a Decepticon-allied Cyclone Mini-Con from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.

The belligerent Bludgeon is pretty easily distractible, particularly when it comes to getting into fights. Most often the target of his aggressions is his fellow Cyclone Mini-Con Clout, who shares his body-type. Clout is also willing to respond in kind, or instigate his own brawl before Bludgeon gets the chance.

Bludgeon and Clout accompanied Scorponok to an abandoned drive-in theater, expecting a meeting with Crazybolt and Steeljaw, but only the speed-demon (eventually) showed up... and very shortly afterwards, Bumblebee and Grimlock made their appearance. Bludgeon and Clout pounced on Bumblebee and commenced pummeling him with their fists, but all three got the full brunt of a concentrated flame-roasting from Crazybolt. Though Bumblebee was able to withstand the flames long enough to knock Crazybolt out of the attack, Bludgeon and Clout couldn't take the heat and were knocked offline. After some flim-flammery from Bumblebee helped the Autobots take out the remaining Decepticons, the whole gang was loaded up into stasis cells back at the scrapyard. Misdirection
Bludgeon's stasis pod was later taken back to Cybertron by Optimus Prime, Windblade and Ratchet. Decepticon Island (Part 2)

- Optimus Prime vs. Decepticon Bludgeon (Mini-Con Battle Pack, 2016)
- Part of the first wave of Mini-Con Battle Packs, Bludgeon is a medieval-themed robot that transforms into a spiked ball that resembles the head of a mace. His alternate mode also has a battering-ram-like face molded to the front of it. As a "Cyclone" style Mini-Con, he is designed to be launched in ball mode by the Deployer toys Overload and Crazybolt.
- Unlike most Mini-Cons from this toyline, Bludgeon does not include an armor sprue.
- He was only available in a two-pack with the basic-sized "Decepticon Hunter" Optimus Prime. This mold was used to make Gravity and Lord Doomitron.
Notes
[edit]- Bludgeon was originally solicited as "Lord Doomitron". That name was later applied to another Mini-Con (originally solicited as "Blu") who is also a black and purple spiky ball with a face, and whose toy shares some parts with Bludgeon's. It's unclear whether these two were perhaps originally intended to be the same character, or if their similarities just caused some kind of mix-up.
- In the Japanese dub both Bludgeon and Clout often get into arguments over trivial topics such as "the enemy leader and I are the same color," and end up fighting with each other. For this, Scorponok always scolded them and both of their catchphrases include "You bastards."
