- Aquastar is a Godmaster human from the Masterforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

BODY once told me
Aquastar (アクアスター Akuasutā) is an Autobot-allied Masterforce Warrior, a human in a Cybertron-made suit of armor that allows him to transform into an engine and control compatible transtector bodies.
Aquastar's nature varies. He is human in some universes, and Cybertronian in others.

[edit]

- Aquastar (Masterforce Warrior, 1988)
- A redeco of the Powermaster Nebulan Hotwire, Aquastar transforms from an armored human into an engine block that can fit in the engine-plug of any Autobot Powermaster/Godmaster toy, unlocking their transformation features. (He can fit into Decepticon sockets, but will not unlock their transformation.)
- He was sold in a small box in Japan as part of the Super-God Masterforce series, along with the other separate Godmaster engines Vollet and Zetca.
- This mold was also used to make the Godmaster engine form of Ranger.
Notes
[edit]- Aquastar's name seems to be a very elaborate reference to the Microman Acroyear Bluestar, combining together Acroyear (アクロイヤー Akuroiyā) and Bluestar (ブルースター Burūsutā) while using the loanword aqua (アクア Akua) to both reference the aku (悪, "evil") found in the Acroyear name and keep the blue color connotation. This is also not the first time Bluestar has shown up as a reference in another Takara toy line with one of the Waruder Generals in Diaclone also being named Bluestar.
