Fluttershy is pegasus from the land of Equestria. Soft-spoken and kind, she scares easily and prefers to stay out of the spotlight. She has a strong bond with animals, befriending and caring for countless varieties of Equestrian wildlife, and hurting them is the quickest way to get on her bad side.

- In Volume 2 of My Little Pony: The Manga, Doctor Hooves mentions saving a Cybertronian version of Fluttershy from the Sharkticon pits on Quintessa Prime.
- While the other ponies and Spike have their weapon forms clearly shown in the final pages of The Magic of Cybertron "Finale", Fluttershy does not get any spotlight panels highlighting her alternate form, despite receiving one of the same transforming suits as the others.
