Abdominus is a Decepticon Combicon from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

2005 IDW continuity

Early on in the war, Abdominus and four other Decepticons were drafted into an experimental research project aimed at creating a workable, combat-ready Combiner. All of them received new limb-based alternate modes as part of the experiment. Fellow Combicon Ambulon eventually defected to the Autobots, and the project was seemingly abandoned. After the end of the war, Ambulon recounted his time with the Combicons to First Aid and noted that that, unlike himself, none of them minded turning into body parts. No Guns, No Swords, No Briefcases

Notes

• Abdominus probably became the torso and/or head of the Combiner.
• His name is a play on the Terrorcon combiner Abominus, who did not appear in the original IDW continuity.
