[edit]Blast was a participant in the Fourth Great War on Cybertron that made some Autobots flee to found their own civilization on Paradron. Fight or Flee
In 1985, Blast was part of the Decepticon forces on Earth and was with Megatron's group when they attacked the Ark based on the mistaken assumption that the Autobots stole the Combaticons' personality components. Starscream's Brigade

[edit]- Blast began life as a miscoloring of Thrust (coloring errors were very frequent in the original Transformers cartoon). Recognizing this as an opportunity, Hayato Sakamoto decided to establish this miscoloring as a new character in his works, provisionally designating him "Blast"—a portmanteau of "Black Thrust" (ブラックスラスト Burakku Surasuto).[1]
