A tussle erupts between the Maximals and the Predacons.
Synopsis
[edit]After acquiring vital information, Armordillo flees Snapper through a volcanic area on Earth, but he's suddenly shot down by Megalligator, an Avatar of the Predacon leader. Megalligator orders Snapper to extract the information from Armordillo's memories, but they are unable to start before Optimus Primal's own Avatar, Convobat swoops in to attack the two Predacons.
Megatron himself stomps into the fray, displeased at the performance of his Avatar, but he's soon confronted by Optimus Primal. The two transform into robot mode and tussle till Megatron exposes his weak point, allowing Optimus to take advantage and blow up his nemesis from the inside out. The explosion triggers the latent energon in a nearby volcano to cause it to erupt, but Optimus Primal manages to escape with Convobat.
Optimus Primal regrets not being able to save Armordillo and wonders just what the important piece of information he was trying to rush to the Maximals was as Optimus Prime slumbers in the hidden Ark...
