The Transformers

[edit]
  • Snaptrap (Seacon, 1988)
  • Accessories: atom-smasher rifle, incendiary sword, half-shell shield/chestplate, 2 footplates, left & right combiner fists, super robot head
Although The Transformers Snaptrap's instructions label his weapons generically as laser and sword, his packaging bio reveals that they represent a semi-automatic atom-smasher rifle and incendiary sword. In turtle mode the rifle can be mounted on the rear half of the shell, or he can hold it in robot mode.
This toy was available as part of a Piranacon giftset and has been redecoed and reissued. The mold was also used to make Halfshell, though he lacked the rifle accessory.
