The Vega Sector (ベガ星域 Bega-seiiki) is apparently part of the Universal Peace Alliance and is stewarded by an individual or group of individuals with the rank of governor. Presumably, it is an area of space in the vicinity of the star Vega. From what little has been seen of the sector, it is known that at least one planet within it is either home to native robot life, or has an Autobot garrison stationed on it.
