Soundwave has his animal subordinates ready to attack the Autobots.

Synopsis

[edit]

It's Soundwave's turn to destroy the Autobots! When Optimus Prime and Bumblebee confront the Decepticon in the woods, they think themselves at a numerical advantage—--only for Soundwave to even the odds by releasing his Mini-Cassette minions. Much to Soundwave's chagrin, however, the two Autobots find Ravage and Laserbeak too adorable to fight and promptly begin to play with the smaller Transformers. Soundwave fumes as Bumblebee asks if they can keep the pair, but Optimus informs his friend that they'll have to return them to their owner.

Notes

[edit]
  • This comic was published in the April/May 2022 issue of TV Magazine and advertised the War for Cybertron Trilogy Cheetor and Deseeus Army Drone toys.
  • It was re-run (simul-run?) as the first May 2022 issue of the bi-monthly web comic, now advertising Studio Series Bumblebee Soundwave.
  • This comic marks the end of the online re-runs as the web comic has now burned through the print comic backlog.
  • From here the comic splits into two tracks:
    • The print comic continues alongside the TV Magazine issues as usual.
    • The web comic, meanwhile, spins out into all-new stories published once a month.
  • This issue was published a yet third time in the first collected edition of Transformers Go! Go!, after which Kodansha subsequently took the rather cynical step of replacing its page on the TV Magazine website with a redirect to an issue advertising the physical release.
